The spring conference will be here before you know it. Scooter will need all of the help he can get to bring this thing off. He is asking that all members contact anyone you think may be able to provide anything that would make a good prize for the Auction Table or for the Door Prize Table. Also, if you know of anyone or any business that may be interested in sponsoring any part of the spring conference, give the information to Scooter and he will contact them.
There will be a need for several volunteers to man the various functions going on during the conference. On Thursday and Friday, June 10th and 11th at least four to six members will be needed to man the registration desk to assist with the check in process as people arrive. 11 am to about 4 or 5 pm will probably be the heaviest arrival time. After the initial check in rush, one or two members can handle any late check ins. A few members will be needed to maintain the Hospitality Room.
I’m sure there will be an area set up for the purpose of selling chapter sales items. This area will need a few members to help with the sales over the weekend of the conference.
If everyone will step up and volunteer for an hour or two or three, no one will be overburdened and all will have a great time.
